Our Mission

Our mission is to help students learn the greatest skill of problem solving, so our students can put math to use in real life as well. Math is not only about numbers & calculations , but learning to problem solve. A key skill that must be introduced in children early enough so they can reap the benefits of it in real life as they enter adulthood.

 

Since our inception in 2011, we have been offering math programs based on the Singapore Math approach. Our programs are offered to students in Grades K to 8.

Why Singapore Math - A very well blended curriculum that incorporates problem solving through pictorial representations. A curriculum such as this makes understanding easy. We remember what we see more. Math is more than just numbers, we learn math to develop our aptitude. Our aptitude develops with critical thinking, logical reasoning and problem solving. All of which is beautifully blended into this curriculum.

What is Mathematical Problem Solving and why is it important?

Problem solving is the process of understanding a given problem, working through the details of a problem, and finding different pathways to arrive at a solution. Problem solving includes mathematical or systematic operation of details in other areas. Mathematical Problem solving is a fundamental approach to developing mathematical knowledge at any age. A person's problem solving skills can in turn gauge their critical thinking skills, a skillset that is required for many aspects of life including employment.

Word problems, lay a strong foundation to develop good math aptitude. Therefore problem solving must be introduced early on, so children can benefit with a important skill set for life..
